MINORITY AND WOMEN OWNED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES
The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) encourages the participation of Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) firms as either primary or sub-contracting vendors. NYSBA routinely seeks proposals in the areas of commodities, services and construction.
For larger contracts, NYSBA will establish a goal for MBE/WBE participation. Contractors may seek to meet their MBE/WBE goals by hiring certified MBE/WBE firm(s).
To be recognized as an MBE or WBE prime contractor or sub-contractor, your firm must be certified by Empire State Development. To learn more about the certification process or the MBE/WBE program in New York State, please contact:
